I Love Mo!
In this story time we paid tribute to one of our favorite authors, Mo Willems. Famous for his Pigeon books and Knuffle Bunny, we were excited to feature his new pop out book Big Frog Can’t Fit In.

Leap Frog (Pretend your fingers are little frogs)
A little frog in a pond am I,
Hippity, hoppity, hop.
Watch me jump in the air so high,
Hippity…Hoppity…Hop!
Three Little Hot Dogs
Three little hot dogs frying in the pan, (hold up three fingers)
The pan got hot and one went BAM! (wiggle fingers and then clap on bam)
Two little hot dogs frying in the pan,
The pan got hot and one went BAM!
One little hot dog frying in the pan,
The pan got hot and one went “Wait, Wait! Put me in a bun,” (Place finger in cupped hand)
“Eat me up,” and now we’re done!

Craft: We made a pigeon door hanger for our craft. We found the idea on Mo Willems fabulous website Pigeon Presents. Click here for the PDF of the Pigeon Door Hanger. We colored, glued and cut out our door hangers. For a special touch, add a googly eye to the “awake” pigeon!
